A mom’s idea of silence

Silence to me looks like this.

(Yes, I took her out of the jumper and laid her in her crib) but first I had to take her picture and revel in the glory of silence (remember, this was after my ears were tortured for three hours by a repetitive piano melody accentuated by the overwhelmingly annoying sound of a spinning rattle drum filled with beads, topped off by a computerized voice happily counting to 10 in Spanish.)
